Hello,
I installed a FTGate Relay server on our DMZ yesterday and I've just noticed 20+ emails have been bounced back with the following error.
SMTP Error: 550 5.5.0 Access Denied <***recipients email address***> (Allocated mailbox storage exceeded (#1.02)) (#4.65)
Why would the relay server be doing this?
Thanks,
Kevin.

Is the relay actually sending to the main server? If there is mail queued in the sdomains outbox, and it exceeds the storage settings, then this could happen.
Ot if you have the settings low, and a glut of mail comes in, it could be temp maxing out.

Yes it does relay inbound mail on to the main server.
Where do I change the storage settings for the outbox?
Thanks.

Remote domains, which are how the mail is sent to the main server, use their own settings. Open up the domains and take a look at their settings.
